about the inn

Established in 1906 Edwardian Inn at Long Lake was fully converted in the mid-1980’s for lodging and relaxation. Common areas, such as the inn’s Great Room, are a perfect place to unwind. The inn’s magnificent fieldstone fireplace, built prior to the advent of automobiles, presides majestically over this welcoming area. Here relax to the musical favorites of America’s great songbook of yesteryear, handpicked for you by the innkeeper.

Our fourth floor library provides both a restful area and an amazing lake view. Showcasing the innkeeper’s personal collection of cookbooks, foodies and avid homecooks will delight in finding a recipe treasure from their trip to Maine.

Outdoors the inn’s graceful Front Porch, manicured grounds, and stately Gazebo provide additional areas to enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail or take in serene lake views and fresh Maine air. Need to dip your toes (or more) in a pristine Maine lake? The Naples Town Beach on Long Lake, the town’s Causeway (currently undergoing an exciting revitalization), and Sebago State Park on Sebago Lake are moments away.

about our food and beverage menu

We consider our Food and Beverage offerings an important part of your experience here at Inn at Long Lake. Seasonal favorites from our American food history, as well as current inspirations, are showcased. We are proud of our 95% “by scratch” (unprocessed) food statement. The other 5%, of course, we happily consider historically pertinent, delicious, and relevant to our home cooking credo.

Your memories of days gone by will be re-awakened with the aromas of home cooked goodness---fresh muffins being baked each morning, warm cookies emerging from the inn kitchen oven each afternoon for your afternoon tea, and the compelling, like-no-other smell of fresh baking breads being made daily. Further complementing your breakfast is our popular Inn at Long Lake “softer style” granola and seasonal inn-made fruit conserves. Full, served breakfast in the inn’s dining room is included in your stay each morning.

The inn now features a full Maine liquor license for your enjoyment. Stylish classic and signature cocktails, wines by the glass, and local Maine beers are available to accentuate your stay with us. Seasonal low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages are also served.
